Avebury is a dynamic and expanding architectural practice and we are recruiting to fill several positons.

We are looking for Part I, Part II and recently qualified Part III architect/assistant roles. If you have an interest and experience in residential design, have strong organisational skills, a keen eye for detail and a passion for tehcnology, architecture and the built environment then we would like to hear from you. Part I Architectural Assistant
To be successful in this position, the following skills and characteristics would be required:
  • Possess Part I Architectural Assistant qualification
  • Exceptional design and presentation skills
  • General knowledge of UK planning & building regulations
  • Basic understanding of construction detailing and construction methods, working mainly from RIBA Stage 2-3
  • Strong communication skills with fluent verbal and written English
  • Strong knowledge of Revit and Adobe Suite. Working knowledge of Rhino is also beneficial.
Expectation is that the successful candidate will be soon to be or recently qualified graduate.

Part 2 Architectural Assistant & Part 3 Architect
To be successful in this position, the following skills and characteristics would be required:
  • Possess Part 2 Architectural Assistant, Part 3 Architect degree or equivalent qualification
  • Exceptional design and presentation skills
  • Detailed knowledge of UK planning & building regulations
  • Good understanding of construction detailing and construction methods
  • Strong communication skills with fluent verbal and written English
  • Strong knowledge of Revit and Adobe Suite. Working knowledge of Rhino is also beneficial.
You will be a member of the architects’ team working with the Associate Architects. Responsibilities include preparing planning feasibility reports, design & access statements, preparing planning submissions, liaising with clients, planning officers and contractors, assisting the Associate Architects on other design and administrative and technical tasks. You should be a soon to be or recently qualified graduate. For the Part 3 Architect we need to see the potential to work both unsupervised and as part of a team.
