Avebury is a dynamic and expanding architectural practice and we are recruiting to fill several positons.

We are looking for Junior Architectural Technician, Senior Architectural Technician, recently qualified Part III Architect roles. If you have an interest and experience in residential design, have strong organisational skills, a keen eye for detail and a passion for the architecture and the built environment then we would like to hear from you. Junior Architectural Technician
To be successful in this position, the following skills and characteristics would be required:
  • Possess Architectural Technology degree or equivalent qualification
  • Have a basic understanding of UK Building Regulations
  • Good written ans verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD design applications and Adobe Suite
Expectation is that the successful candidate will be soon to be or recently qualified graduate.

Senior Architectural Technician
To be successful in this position, the following skills and characteristics would be required:
  • Possess Architectural Technology degree or equivalent qualification
  • Have an excellent understanding of UK Building Regulations
  • Solid understanding of construction detailing and construction methods
  • Strong written ans verbal communication skills
  • Complete proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD design applications
You will be a senior member of the technical team working with the Associate Architects. Responsibilities include production of tender drawings, building regulation submissions, construction drawing packs, liaising with clients and contractors, producing as built drawing packs and assisting other colleagues to meet tight deadlines. You should have minimum eight years’ experience primarily on refurbishment of old structures and new build low-rise / mid-rise residential developments with a ability to work both unsupervised and as part of a team.

Part 2 Architectural Assistant & Part 3 Architect
To be successful in this position, the following skills and characteristics would be required:
  • Possess Part 2 Architectural Assistant, Part 3 Architect degree or equivalent qualification
  • Have working knowledge of UK Building Regulations
  • Good understanding of construction detailing and construction methods
  • Strong written ans verbal communication skills
  • Complete proficiency with Revit design application. Working knowledge of AutoCAD design application and Adobe Suite
You will be a member of the architects’ team working with the Associate Architects. Responsibilities include preparing planning feasibility reports, design & access statements, preparing planning submissions, building regulations submissions, liaising with clients, planning officers, building control inspectors and contractors, assisting the Associate Architects on other design and administrative and technical tasks. You should be a soon to be or recently qualified graduate. For the Part 3 Architect we need to see the potential to work both unsupervised and as part of a team.
